The challenge to writing a press release involves a delicate balance of journalism and copywriting in order for a press release to serve as effective direct-to-consumer communication, and reaching that goal commonly involved many skills and steps, including:
Submitting press releases to senior leadership teams for review
Writing new content based on stakeholder input
Vetting content with partner companies
The process can also include editing collateral press releases by partner companies, as well as distilling press releases down into emails for internal company release.
